Banff Lodging Company | Announced the Opening of Two New Hotels in Banff, Alberta, Canada

Banff Lodging Company, a locally owned and operated hospitality company based in Banff, has announced the opening of two new hotels, Hotel Canoe Suites and The Otter Hotel, in Banff, a beautiful resort town located along the Trans - Canada Highway within Banff National Park in the province of Alberta, in western Canada.

The natural beauty of Banff’s surrounding lakes and mountains made it Canada’s first National Park and the world’s third national park refuge, and part of Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The properties are situated on the site formerly known as the Inns of Banff, which the company acquired in 2005, both at 600 Banff Avenue in the Uptown Banff District, an area known for its picturesque setting, quaint shops, vibrant atmosphere, all surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Canadian Rockies, in one of most fascinating and attractive areas of the province of Alberta.

The hotels are located a short distance from Banff Park Museum, The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, 3.4 km from Cave and Basin National Historic Site, not far from Tunnel Mountain Reservoir, a picturesque area for its stunning mountain vistas and serene ambiance offering stunning panoramic views of Mount Roundle and the Bow Valley, 60 km from Lake Louise and 134 km from Calgary International Airport.

Both establishments are rated as four - star properties and both restaurants have been developed with input from Calgary restaurateurs Dwayne and Alberta Ennest.
