Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group International Limited, a multinatinational hospitality management group focusing on luxury hotels, resorts and residences founded in 1963 and headquartered in Hong Kong, has announced the opening of of a new hotel in Downtown Dubai, UAE, scheduled for October 2025.
The Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai will be located at Al Badaa’ Street in the Wasl Tower, a 302 metre super high - rise structure boasting one of the the world’s tallest ceramic facades, an architectural marvel noted for its distinctive architectural design and a twisting form that incorporates fins to optimize airflow, developed with energy –-efficient technologies to enhance sustainability and offering breathtaking views of the Burja Khalifa and the glistering Arabian Sea.
The hotel lies next to Sheikh Zayed Road, a major thoroughfare and bustling boulevard known for its towering skycrapers, luxury hotels and bustling urban life, considered the city’s main artery and a prime location for business and leisure, also home to some of the most prominent shopping malls, including the Dubai Mall.
The premier location allows guests an easy access to relevant landmarks of the city – emirate include Dubai World Trade Centre, Burj Khalifa and the iconic Maze Tower, and just a 5 - minute drive from City Walk and Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.
Complete with a rooftop helipad for seamless arrivals, the hotel is set to become a pillar of sophisticated urban hospitality.
The property will feature 259 comfortable rooms and suites, as well as 224 branded residences for lease, providing a combination of private home comforts and hotel services.
Dining options at the hotel will include ten different concepts and bars, offering a variety of cuisines such as Chinese, French, Greek and Italian.

The opening of this new property marks Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s second location in Dubai, expanding its presence in the region.
