Marriott International, American multinational company based in Bethesda, Maryland, launched a new hotel in Istanbul, vibrant city in Türkiye that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait, a metropolis with a population of nearly 16 million, considered the economic, cultural and historical capital of the country.
The new property is Aloft Istanbul Karaköy, a hotel part of Aloft Hotels, a brand known for its tech forward design, catering to a young, connected crowd with features like fast and free WiFi and smart room technology and rooms designed with a modern aesthetic and this opening marks the brand’s second establishment in Türkiye.
The hotel caters to both leisure and business travellers and is situated at Arap Cami, Bankalar Cd. No 33 in the vibrant Karaköy district, known for its modern design and art scene, offering a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary style, a short walk from Galata Tower, close to attractions such as Spice Bazzar and Istiklal Street, conveniently close to the city’s cruise port, museums, dining, and shopping venue and 38 kilometres from Istanbul Airport.
The property features 107 - loft - style rooms and suites, designed with urban - inspired aesthetics. Each room is equipped with high ceilings, platform beds, and 55 - inch LED television and the bathroom include walk – in rainfall showers.
