The property located at 5 Devonshire Square is a brick - lined hotel on the edge of Shoreditch, an artry area adjacent to the equally hip neighborhood of Hoxton in the London Borough of Hackney alongside neighbouring parts of Tower Hamlets, highlighted by vintage and design shops, fashionable clubs and bars that surround Shoreditch High Street, Great Eastern Street and Old Street, with an eclectic dining scene features eveything from trendy chain restaurants and smart gastropubs to artisan coffee shops and noodle bars.
The Sir Devonshire Square, part of Sircle Collection is housed in a 17th century textile warehouse featuring 81comfortable and stylish rooms including 14 suites.
The Bauhaus inspired mid -century interiors have been designed by the architecture and interior design Maison 191, a multi - disciplined interior design and agency based in Penzance, Cornwall, founded by Samuel Wright, specialising in interior architecture and furniture design.
The walls in the lounge and lobby area showcase the work of emerging London artists and photographers and will be refreshed every six months, in a rotating exhibit.
The property has opened with an - all day dining concept, available to both hotel and the public, which serves contemporary dishes as well as a cocktail and wine menu and in - room coffee Is offered by Sir’s exclusive partner East London’s AllPress.
The hotel will also develop The Cover, Sircle Collection’s private members’s club, and the main restaurant that are set to follow at a later date and is finalising plans from a an in - house gym, in the meantime a local fitness partner will provide complimentary access for hotel guests.
The Sir Devonshire Square, part of Sircle Collection will play host a monthly programme of events, from DJ sessions and live music nights to art talks and design panels.
