Hyatt Hotels Corporation, American multinational hospitality company based in Chicago, Illinois, has signed an agreement to develop a new Hyatt Place hotel in Bhuj, a city in the Kutch district of northwestern Gujarat state in western India, situated in the lowlands of the marsh of Rann and the Gulf of Kachchh, a centre known for its rich history, architecture and handicrafts, highlighted by relevant attractions include the Aina Mahal, Prag Mahal palaces, Kutch Museum, and its stunning white salt - encrusted landscape.
The project to develop Hyatt Place Bhuj, in partnership with Primitive Property LLP, an Indian real estate development company, will introduce the Hyatt brand to Bhuj aligning with Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s strategy to expand its presence in key Indian markets and in South Asia.
The hotel is scheduled to open in 2029 and aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers by providing accommodations that facilitate work and relaxation.This initiative is part of Hyatt’s broader efforts to grow its Hyatt Place portfolio across high - growth destinations in India.
The planned property will occupy a site of approximately 7.500 square metres featuring 125 comfortable rooms and offering a range of amenities, including, an all - day restaurant, outdoor dining options, a lobby lounge, conferences facilities, breakout meeting rooms, and flexible event spaces with pre - function areas.
Hyatt Place Bhuj will enter in the Hyatt Place brand that emphasizes a casual atmosphere and practical amenities for the multi - tasking traveller, featuring spacious guest rooms with distinct zones for sleeping, working, and relaxing. The brand combines style, innovation and 24/7 convenience to create a seamless stay with modern comforts.
