Marriott International, American multinational hospitality based in Bethesda, Maryland in partnership with Noble Investment Group, a leading asset manager, investing in the future of travel and hospitality, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, has officially opened a new 334 - room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in San Diego, a vibrant city on the Pacific coast of California, famous for its idyllic climate, 112 kilometres of coastline, long beaches, parks and a lively atmosphere.

San Diego is a city which offers several attractions includes the world renowned San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, La Jolla area, known for its scenic beauty and wildlife, highlighted by numerous art galleries, artist studios, museums, gardends with a strong naval presence and is considered the “birthplace of California” due to its historical significance. 

The opening of the Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown Little Italy is part of Noble Investment Group’s to invest in high - demand markets and align with established brands. 

The hotel featuring 334 comfortable rooms and suites has undergone a comprehensive renovation includes updates to guestrooms and suites, public areas, and over 10.000 square feet of meeting and event space.  

The renovation introduced modern design, enhanced amenities, and new features, including a Skydeck Pool and a sunset terrace with views of the marina and the hotel also includes a new restaurant, Orexi, serving Mediterranean - Californian cuisine.  

The property is located at 1646 Front Street, conveniently close by to attractions such as San Diego Zoo and Sea World, just minutes from the Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego Convention Center and San Diego International Airport, in the heart of San Diego’s Little Italy, a central area known for its coastal character and urban environment, once home to San Diego’s flourishing tuna fishing industry and generations of Italian families who made their living on the sea. 

San Diego' Little Italy is now a lively neighbourhood with cozy patios cafés, international restaurants, craft brew stops, urban wineries, art gallleries, sophisticated shops, and boutique hotels, a popular area for both business and leisure travellers due to its proximity to dining, shopping, entertainment, cultural landmarks, and major city attractions. 

The neighbourhood’s appeal is supported by San Diego’s convention and tourism industry, its military presence, its educational institutions, and its growing innovation economy.
