Radisson Hotel Group, a multinational hospitality company based in Brussels, Belgium has launched its first Park Inn by Radisson property in Australia, located in Melbourne, the coastal capital of the southeastern state of Victoria, a vibrant metropolis occupies much more of the northern and eastern coastlines of Port Philipp Bay and spreading into the Mornington Peninsula. 

The opening of the Park Inn by Radisson Melbourne Carlton is part of Radisson Hotel Group’s strategy to expand the Park Inn by Radisson brand in key city and leisure markets within the region.

The hotel is located at 441 Royal Parade, Parkville, beside Princes Park and near Lygon Street, renowned for its diverse dining options, within a 15 - minute walk of Melbourne Zoo, conveniently close to University of Melbourne and Melbourne’s biomedical precint,, approximately 4 kilometres from Melbourne’s central business district, accessible via tram routes and is positioned to serve visiting academics,  medical professionals and students.

The property features 89 rooms, offering views of Princes Park, a lobby café serving Piazza D’ oro Italian coffee, an all - day grab - and – go - menu, catering to guests on the move, an outdoor swimming pool and is developing a wellness hub that will feature an infrared and steam sauna, as well as a cold plunge experience. 

Park Inn by Radisson Melbourne Carlton aims to provide a sustainable stay with up to 80% of its energy sourced from solar power and water - saving measures include high - efficiency showerheads and taps, and the landscaping uses drought – tolerant native plants.

 The establishment entered into Park Inn by Radisson upper midscale hotel brand that focuses on providing a stress - free positive, and vibrant experience through modern and colourful design, contemporary style, and friendly service. 

Key features of the brand include good food, contemporary design, and surprising “feel good extras”. It targets both business and leisure travellers, with properties often located in convenient hubs like capital cities and near airports and railway stations.
