Radisson Hotel Group, a multinational hospitality company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, has launched its Prize by Radisson brand in Bergen, Norway’s second - largest city after the capital Oslo, located in Vestland county on the southwestern coast of the country, a historical coastal gem framed by seven mountains and iconic fjords like the Sognefjord and Hardangerfjord, with the opening of two new hotels in the city.
Bergen, a UNESCO World Heritage city, is highly recognized for its historical and cultural significance, making it a very attractive location for Radisson Hotel Group’s expansion efforts.
The new openings are part of the group’s strategy to increase its footprint in key destinations across the Nordic Region, increasing its presence in the area to five properties.
Both hotels are strategically positioned to offer convenient access to Bergen’ top attractions, corporate districts, retail areas and public transportation.
The Prize by Radisson, Solheimsviken Bergen - The hotel is located at Bøhmergaten 42, two kilometres from Bergen’s city centres, 2.7 km from Mount Floyen Funicular and Bryggen Wharfe area. The property with the style and comforts of high - design by Karim Rashid features 217 rooms, a restaurant, a rooftop terrace with magnificent views over Bergen, and event spaces.
The Prize by Radisson, Xhbition Bergen City - The property is located at Småstrandgaten, 3 within the the central Xhibition complex, minutes away from Griechhallen, a well known cultural venue in the city, and providing easy access to local attractions and public transportation. The hotel features 55 comfortable rooms, guests can have access to an on - ste shopping centre enjoying the rooftop terrace or 6th floor conservatory for drinks and striking city views.
