Marriott International, American multinational hospitality company based in Bethesda, Maryland, has incorporated in its Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection, The Hall Arts Hotel, located in Dallas, a vibrant city and important commercial hub in North Texas, one of most influential cities in the United States, known for its booming economy, diverse cultural scene and a very welcoming atmosphere.
The property is the only hotel located in the heart of the vibrant Dallas Arts District, located directly across from the AT&T Performing Arts Center (Winspear Opera House) and near Moody Performances Hall and the Dallas Museum of Art, a short walk from Klyde Warren Park, five minutes on foot from Nasher Sculpture Center and 32 kilometres from DWF International Airport, offering an unparalleled access to the city centre, museums, and diverse restaurants.
Owned by HALL Group, a Dallas - based private company founded in 1968, made up of a diverse group of subsidiaries spanning real estate, finance, winemaking and venture capital, and managed by Coury Hospitality, a pioneering full - service lifestyle management company headquartered in Dallas, the hotel opened in 2019, and now becomes part of a portfolio that includes more than 340 independent hotels worldwide.
The property features 183 contemporary guest rooms, including 19 Arts District - inspired suites with views of downtown Dallas’ electric skyline, offering curated art throughout, upscale amenities like a rooftop pool, fitness centre with peloton bikes, Ellie’s Restaurant, and a pet - friendly “Sit & Stay” program, all within the Arts District with convenient house car service and unique event spaces.
The Hall Arts Hotel joins Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection, a selected family of distinctive, independent hotels with a focus on unique design reflecting the local culture and spirit, ranging from historic luxury to modern hotels and resorts. The collection emphasizes “exactly like nothing else” experiences, often incorporating art, local cuisine, and specific themes like rich history or beachside getaways.
The transition to the Autograph Collection will bring several updates to the hotel. Planned enhancements include a refreshed lobby and rooms, as well as the debut of a new restaurant: Astra Kitchen + Lounge scheduled to open in early March. The restaurant will feature a bistro - inspired menu and is named after the artwork displayed within the space.
As part of the integration, Marriott Bonvoy members can now earn and redeem points for stays at Hall Arts Hotel.
The hotel will also offer an art - focused arrival experience, including a complimentary glass of HALL Wines and an introduction to the hotel’s art collection. Each room will include a curated set of postcards, encouraging guests to explore the property’s contemporary art installations with audio insight and prompts.
The hotel’s art collection was selected by Craig and Kathryn Hall and curators Virginia Shore and Patricia Meadows. The property has emphasized art and wine programming since its opening.
No change to ownership or management have been announced as part of the transition. The hotel’s enhancements and new restaurant are expected to be completed in early March, according to the announcement.
