Hilton Worldwide Holding, Inc., American multinational hospitality company based in Tysons, Virginia, has unveiled the opening of a 116 - room Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Calangute, a town in the western Indian state of Goa, standing on the shores of the Arabian Sea between Baga and Candolim.
Known as the “Queen of Beaches” , Calangute is renowned for its long, golden - sand shoreline, vibrant nighlife, water sports, a huge selection of bars, restaurants and clubs that stay open until late, particularly on Baga Road and around Tito’s Lane , a premier destination for both Indian and international tourists also known for its cultural and historical heritage with the sturdy walls of Aguada Fort, built in the early 1600s under Portuguese colonial rule, surround a 19th- century lighthouse.
The Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute brings Hilton’s operational portfolio in Goa to four properties, including Hilton Goa Resort, Double Tree by Hilton Goa - Panaji, and Double Tree by Hilton - Arpora - Baga.
Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute opened in partnership with Kokra Resort & Spa Private Limited, a hospitality company headquartered in Delhi is located at Survey No. 124/7, Candolim Road in Gauravaddo, a livevely area packed with midrange and upscale hotels, set between neighboring Calnagute and Candolim beaches, approximately 40 km from Manohar International Airport (GOX) and Dabolim International Airport (GOI).
The property features 116 guest rooms, including accessible rooms and suites, each equipped with bedding, workspaces, complimentary Wi – Fi and smart TVs.
Dining options at the hotel include &ToGo at the lobby, offering light bites and treats available around the clock, and Together & Co, an all - day dining restaurant and bar with rooftop alfresco seating, an infinity pool, and ocean views. Facilities include a 24 - hour fitness centre and a 768 – square meeting room named Aurea.
The hotel joins Hilton Garden, an upscale, focused - service brand under the Hilton portfolio, providing comfortable, functional accommodations aimed at both business and leisure travellers.
