Four Seasons Hotels Limited, trading as Four Season Hotels and Resorts, a luxury and resort company based in Toronto, Canada, which has transformed the hospitality industry by combining personalized and genuine care with a commitment to excellence in service and details has announced plans to open a new hotel in, Seville, the vibrant capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain, situated on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, well known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, boasting a stunning monumental core highlighted by its majestic Cathedral, the iconic Giralda Tower, and numerous Mudejar masterpieces present all around its centre, as well as famous to be one of the Flamenco cradles, highlighted by a relevant art scene and a unique, vibrant atmosphere.
In partnership with Spanish real estate investment firm Blasson , Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts plans to open Four Season Hotel Sevilla in Plaza Nueva, the vibrant, tree - lined main square in the historic centre of Seville within the lively Arenal Quarter, serving as the bustling civic and commercial hub, famously known for its striking architecture including the Ayuntamiento (Ciy Hall) located on the east side of the square, a richly decorated 16 th building considered a masterpiece of the Plateresque style, grand – monuments, and year – round festivities.
The hotel scheduled to open in 2028 will occupy a mid - 20 th century building, which will undergo a complete revitalisation before opening.
Located near Seville’s cultural and historic sites, including the iconic Cathedral, Archivo de Indias museum and Royal Alcázar, all UNESCO World Heritage sites, the hotel will offer city skyline and open - air terraces.
The property will feature approximately 55 rooms across five storeys, with accommodations ranging from 540 to 117 square metres, including a Presidential Suite. Architecture will be led by Madrid - based Lamela, and interiors will be designed by Belén Domecq.
Plans include three dining and social outlets: a street - level restaurant with direct access to Plaza Nueva, a rooftop restaurant and bar with city views, and a ground - floor lounge. Additional amenities will include a spa, fitness centre, and a rooftop swimming pool overlooking the city.
Four Seasons Hotel Sevilla follows the company’s previous developments in Madrid and Mallorca and is part of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts expansion plans to enhance the company presence in key destinations in Southern Europe.
