Hyatt Hotels Corporation, American multinational hospitality company based in Chicago, Illinois, has unveiled the opening of a resort part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, in Hua Hin, a Thailand’s original beach resort, located roughly a 2.5 - hour drive (200 km) south of the capital of the country, Bangkok.
Hua Hin is known for its calm waters., a 6 km stretch of soft sand, rich history, relaxed family - friendly vibe, offering an excellent blend of golf courses, seaside dining, and cultural heritage. Its central area is lively, vibrant, offering various dining, entertainment and shopping options, while southern spots like Khao Takiab (Monkey Mountain) are quieter and offer great temple views.
THE BARAI HUA HIN opening, marking the debut of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand, is located on the beachfront al 91/29 Hua Hin - Khao Takiap Road, Prachuap Khiri Khan along Kao Takiap coastline, south of downtown Huan Hin, Set over 4.5 acres of forested grounds.
The resort is situated immediately adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, 0.4km from Tamarind Market and about 4.8 kilometres from the iconic Hua Hin Railway Station, offering an easy access to various atttactions include Kui Buri National Park, Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, and Phraya Nakhon Cave.
Originally opened as a spa 20 years ago, the property has been expanded into a resort. Architect Lek Mathar Bunnag designed the resort, incorporating courtyards, shaded corridors, sculptural forms and water features.
The resort provides 98 rooms, including 27 suites and two - two bedroom penthouses. Higher - category suites offer butler service, terraces, in - suite rituals, and daily massage inclusions.
Dining options include White Cottage, which serves breakfast, seafood, plant - forward dishes and Thai - inspired flavours, and McFarland House, located in a restored 19th - century beachfront pavilion, offering modern European cuisine, grilled meats, afternoon tea, and Sunday brunch.
The property includes two pools: the Forest Pool at the centre of the resort and the Beach Pool overlooking the Gulf of Thailand.
The BARAI Spa, named after ancient reservoirs, features pools, courtyards, stone passageways, and quirt spaces. The two - story Wellmess Hub oversees by CM.D. Chutamat Srinoi, includes a 24 - hour fitness centre, yoga studio, holistic zone, and wellness shop. Wellness programs are based on the element of air, earth, fire, and water, and include pathways for women’s health, sleep recovery, back care, longevity, emotional wellbeing, and heart health.
