That Sacred Lutheran Temple had some restorations in the 50's and it was erected on a large irregular rectangular plan highlighted by a scenic long and wide sloping grey gable roof, sober white walls and a beautiful bell tower covered in its upper section by a polygonal roof with the same tonality of the main body of the Church subdivided in three sections and topped by a splendid high spire surmounted by an iron Cross.

The great network of the bipolar complex formed by Tärnaby and Hemavan provides more than 50,0 kilometres of space for winter sports more than 20,0 are in the first site and that magnificent there is a track over 5,0 kilometres long.
The local pistes are suitable for all, the beginners can enjoy 10,0 kilometres on the easy blue tracks of the village the ideal places to move the first steps with gradients ideal to have confidence on the skis and learning the right coordination step by step.They are not extremely steep and with very soft bends.
The red slopes are developed on 4,0 kilometres, a great option for skiers with an intermediate level, those pistes have an excellent inclination with some sections perfect for special slaloms and on the soil of Tärnaby there are 6,0 kilometres of Black tracks with 8,0 km in the network classified with that colour for masters and experienced skiers. They are very challenging, steep with an ample variety of curves and great straights.
The snow secure is always between the hilly area at 470,0 metres of altitude and the mountainous at an altiude of 1135,0 metres, it is always in excellent condition,well prepared,there are not sharp corners or ice packs which could be dangerous for the skiers and damaging the materials.The skis perfectly slide finding a perfect adherence with the snow surface and that is highly appreciated.
The facilities are outstanding with the presence of 14 ski lifts and Târnaby also offers the opportunity to buy Ski equipments thanks to the presence of very professional shops and it has local Ski Schools with a very high reputation and Masters who fluently speak English a great advantage also for the aspect communication.
