Friuli Venezia Giulia, beautiful region in the North-East of Italy, is proving to be a sort of magnet for people from abroad who buy a property on its territory.
The Gate – Away portal has drawn up a balance sheet regarding the real estate market in Friuli Venezia Giulia concerning the first half of the current year and the demand for international citizens continues to prove to be very dynamic and active.
The experts also explain in relation to an intervention reported by the Gazzettino that there are more and more Austrians, Americans and Germans citizens who decide to buy houses in this Italian region attracted by the scenic beauty of the territory and the cultural, local heritage.
Based on the data in the report for the first six months of 2024, the province that has obtained the most requests is Trieste with 41.98%, followed by Udine 35.88%, Pordenone 13.74% and Gorizia 8.4%
As far as the municipalities are concerned, the greatest preferences place Trieste in first place in the ranking with 33.59% of requests, followed by Fiume Veneto, quite unsuspected to occupy one the first positions in the preferences, Lignano Sabbiadoro and Duino Aurisina.
As for the type of property sought, the largest requests concern the apartment category with 29.77% followed by Villa 17.56%, and detached house 6.87%.
In terms of prices, the range between € 500,000 and € 1.0 million is the most requested with 23.66 of preferences.
