This partnership will certainly open up very interesting horizons. It will strengthen the promotion of the destination by significantly increasing the visibility of Lanzarote's wineries, highlighting the qualities of local wines and automatically the landscape of La Geria, the epicentre of the Canary Island's wine industry.

This agreement will define a precise framework with very good benefits for both the CRDO and the island's tourism promotion body which will plan joint actions abroad aimed to the specific segments of greatest profitability for Lanzarote as a destination.

This collaboration also establishes the payment of an annual fee from CRDO to SPEL which provides the right to the wineries to have a prominent place in the media and in the promotional tools of the institution by acquiring greater visibility.

The President of SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote expressed his satisfaction with this agreement which represents a very significant step for the consolidation of Lanzarote as a leading destination in the wine tourism sector with the synergy between local wineries and tourism promotion that will allow sustainable development and a more enriching offer for Lanzarote.
