Marriott International, famous American multinational group dedicated to hospitality industry with its headquarter in Bethesda– Maryland, U.S., and Eagle Hills Properties, a well-known private investment and real estate development company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates have signed an agreement for the opening of the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve on Rahman Island, exclusive destination located in Abu Dhabi.
This naturally shaped island is spread over an area of over 4 million square meters, a place that is suitable for ultra-luxury tourism on a natural island connected through a network of waterways that will host tourist residences, villas and luxury hotels, offering superb services for both tourists and residents.
Scheduled to open in 2029, the Reserve will be located on a secluded island within Ramhan Island and will feature 50 private luxury villas ranging from one to four bedrooms, the first floating villas planned in the region with views of the waterfront and the Arabian Gulf. The project also includes a series of sumptuous services regarding leisure as well as multiple culinary venues.
Marriott International's Chief Operating Officer – Middle East said the group's excitement to bring the Ritz – Carlton brand to the UAE to offer guests unique, intimate and transformative experiences in an ultra-luxury setting, an extraordinary signing that marks a very important addition to Marriott International's portfolio in the Arab country where is visible a strong demand for luxury experiences.
The president of Eagle Hills commented that this collaboration developed with Marriott International on Ramhan Island represents a milestone and commitment to creating and shaping wonderful experiences with an eye on redefining hospitality and The first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the country will set new standards of excellence in the luxury segment.
