The Hotel is developed with the collaboration of the owners Flag Luxury Group, privately, held real estate development company heaquartered in New York formed in 1997 by Dayssi and Paul Kanavos with a primary focus on luxury hotels and land based entertainment and Unicorp National Developments, a real estate company and most dynamic mixed – use developers in the US based in Orlando.
The InterContinental Orlando Hotel will be the third of the group in the state of Florida in a destination that is the sixth - largest metropolitan area in the Southern United States and the third - largest in Florida behind Miami and Tampa Bay, boasting a wide range of entertainment, home to more than a dozen theme parks among them Walt Disney World, comprised of parks like Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as well as water parks, Universal Orlando which offers Universal Studios and Islands Adventures with in addition the upcoming Universal Epic Universe.
The Hotel located on Orlando's renowned International Drive, busy commercial area, home to the city's Convention Center and near to popular theme parks will provide 700 rooms including 84 suites, available to guests there will be five restaurants and bars, Spa and wellness services, a fitness center, a swimming pool, large spaces for meetings and events, a business center and a Club InterContinental lounge.
