Alpitour, company operating in the tourism sector with its headquarters in Turin, expands its presence with a new hotel structure in the area of the capital of Oman, Muscat, marking the debut for an Italian tourist group in the largest center of the Omani Sultanate and on its coast.
The Piedmontese group has concluded an agreement with a multi-year contract and exclusive for the Italian market with Shangri – La Barr Al Jissah Al Waha, historic 5-star hotel, considered one of the emblems of Omani hospitality perfectly located between the mountains and sea, yet just 30 minutes by car from the heart of Muscat and about 40 minutes driving from Muscat International Airport.
This iconic hotel will soon become part of the Francorosso Seaclub Style collection which identifies itself as the brand's highest category of clubs.
Overlooking a long sandy beach in a well-known area where turtles periodically lay their eggs throughout the year, the complex consists of three buildings and the Fracorosso Seaclub Style will occupy the part of Al Waha providing comfortable rooms all with sea view, ready to accommodate families with assistance and entertainment staff from Italy.
The first departure has been set for October 29, 2025, travel agencies have been presented with the package via newsletter although there has not yet been an official communication to the media.
