Emirates | Strategic MoUs with Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet

 

Emirates, one of the two flags carriers of the United Arab Emirates, subsidiary of the Emirates Group, which is owned by the Government od Dubai's Investment Corporation based in Garhoud, founded in 1985 that is today one of the fastest growing airlines in the world but it is also and above all a key element in the development strategy of the Emirate of Dubai enters into a partnership with the signing of a MoUs memorandum of understanding with Vietnam Airlines , the flag carrier of Vietnam founded in 1956 and headquartered in Hanoi, member of SkyTeam Alliance and Vietjet Air, Vietnamese low-cost airline, the first privately owned airline to be established in Vietnam founded in 2007 and headquartered in Hanoi.

The strategic agreement between the airlines sets the framework for expanding the existing cooperation to include a sustained improvement of connectivity on routes through the gateways of Hanoi and Ho Chi Min. Min. 

Part of the agreements and strategies is also maximizing air traffic between the Middle East and South East Asia as well as an existing partnership and the possibility of offering mutual benefits linked to their respective loyalty programs.

Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim commented that Vietnam is a market that offers huge opportunities to boost tourism and trade as it is a key hub in South East Asia and Emirates supports the UAE's ongoing efforts to consolidate existing economic ties with Vietnam.
