Hilton Worlwide Holdings Inc., American multinational company, founded in 1919 by Conrad Hilton and headquartered in Tysons - Virginia is planning to expand its presence in Egypt opening 25 new hotels including more than 10 recently signed properties.
This very significant expansion will shine Hilton's total portfolio in the North African country to more than 40 hotels in the coming years introducing Hilton's lifestyle brands, including the trendy and performing Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton, to Egypt for the first time.
The Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi, one of the highly anticipated properties expected to open in early 2025 will be located in Cairo's upscale Maadi district on the east bank of the Nile River, about 12.0 kilometres upriver from downtown Cairo, a neighborhood well known for its leafy streets and hip dining scene with stylish European and Egyptian, restaurants, trendy cafes, cocktails, live music and bar games along the Corniche promenade and will feature contemporary rooms with panoramic views of the Pyramids and the Nile.

Other high – profile properties are among the new signings such as Hilton Cairo Historic City will be located in Old Cairo's Magra El Oyoun, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, set to open in 2027 in a partnership with City Edge Developments, the hotel will feature 255 rooms and suites, great dining experiences, meeting and event facilities as well as fitness amenities and a gym.
Double Tree by Hilton Cairo Downtown will open in 2028 in another collaboration with City Edge Developments , it will be situated in the heart of the Egyptian capital providing 257 rooms and suites, a variety of dining options, corporate facilities and additional wellness amenities.
Hilton Cairo Suez Road will open in partnership with Rehana Hotels Group, an accommodation strategically located on the Cairo Suez Road with a great connectivity to relevant business and commercial districts of the Egyptian metropolis and just 25 minutes from Cairo International Airport.The Hotel will provide 350 rooms and suites, a large option of dining venues and specialty restaurants, a spa, fitness centre and versatile meeting spaces.
Hilton's expansion also extend to resort destinations in partnerships with Concord Co. for Tourist Development, S.A.E. and Africa for Real Estate Investment have signed three agreements with Hilton to introduce in Egypt the brand Curio Collection by Hilton and the Tapestry Collection by Hilton to the Egyptian Red Sea coast, properties expected to open between 2025 and 2028 offering guests unique and memorable experiences and world – class dining options.
In addition, some existing hotel in Hilton's Egypt portfolio will undergo refurbishment to offer new experiences, it is the case of the Ramses Hilton, Hilton Pyramid Golf and Hilton Cairo Heliopolis while in Marsa Alam, the Hilton Marsa Alam Nubian Resort will also see a relevant refurbishment with the addition of 66 rooms and suites.
This relevant plan of growth of Hilton's portfolio in Egypt will also create 5.000 new jobs opportunities, a demonstration that the company's commitment to positively impacting local communities, ainding in talent development across Egypt.
Directly linked to that Hilton has launched its hospitality school in the North African country, working next to Egyptian academic institutions and universities to train and recruit the next generation of young hospitality professionals.
