Ruby Hotels GmbH | Opening of its 20th Property in Europe at Clerkenwell in London

 

Munich – based Ruby Group also known as Ruby Hotels GmbH founded in 2013, hospitality company breaking new ground with its Lean Luxury philosophy with a lean organisational structure and concentration on the essentials and aimed in creating a contemporary, affordable form of luxury for modern, cost and style – conscious customers has opened its 20th property in Europe and third in London :  Ruby Stella.

The hotel is located in Clerkenwell, forming the south – western part of the London borough of Islington, home to the City University and Royal Mail's Mount Pleasant sorting office including the districts of Farringdon and Finsbury an area well known for its Hip cafes, cutting – edge restaurants, plus historic pubs, cosy gastropubs, indie shops and nightclubs along Eyre Street Hill.

Ruby Stella takes its design inspiration from the iconic British author, novelist, journalist, short story writer and social critic Charles Dickens regarded by many as the greatest novelist of the Victorian era, whose work The Pickwick Papers is said to have roots in the area.

The hotel provides 153 rooms across three categories cosy, lovely and nest set across seven floors and for the fist time, Ruby Hotels has also introduced windowless rooms, complimentary tea and an iron is available on every floor, plus a Maxi Bar, selling drinks, snacks, umbrellas, toothbrushes and more.

Amenities at the hotel include, a multifunctional reception, bar and lounge area, the ground – floor Courtyard Terrace for alfresco dining, and Ruby Stella can support with hosting events in in these spaces.

Products including the in – room aromatherapy Ruby Care shampoos and shower gels, along with scented candles, tea, coffee, and bedding, are all available to purchase via Ruby's online shop.

After the opening of Ruby Stella, there are 10 hotels of Ruby Hotels GmbH under construction or in the planning phase, via a joint venture with Delonix, a global hospitality, investment and experiential consumer company and tourism group headed by Alex Zheng, the hospitality company will also expand in China.

Alongside hotels, Ruby also offers flexible workspaces in Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Florence, Hamburg, Malta, Munich, Stuttgart and Vienna.
