Accor S.A., the largest hospitality company in Europe, founded in 1967 and hearquartred in Issy - les – Moulineaux - France, a constituent of the CAC Next 20 index on the Paris stock exchange with its MGallery Collection has expanded its presence in Asia, concretely in Greater China by launching three new hotels in Nanjing, Shenzhen and Wuxi bringing the total number of the brand property in the region to nine, with several more under development.
The properties entering in the Accor portfolio are the Ming Hotel Nanjing, the Town Hotel Shenzhen and the Dangkou Ancient Town Hotel, all promise to provide guests with comfortable, luxurious, sustainable and personalized service, openings that follow the recent launch of the Chengdu Expo Waterfall Hotel, another MGallery property, a brand characterized to offer authentic, distinctive and memorable experiences, boutique hotels that combine high – end level with unique culture and history.
· The Ming Hotel Nanjing – Located in Nanjing, capital of China’s eastern Jiangsu Province, roughly 300 kilometres up the Yangtze River from the city of Shanngai and national capital during part of the iconic Ming dynasty, in the bustling Qin Haui district, 2.7 kilometres from Nanjing Museum, 3.3 kilometres from the Presidential Palace, 4.4 kilometres from Confucius Temple and 5.6 from Ming Tomb, not far from Qinhuai River and and around 5.7 kilometres from Xanwu Lake.
The hotel lies on the lively Changijng Road offers a modern interpretation of an idyllic urban oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, combining the city’s historical features with modern luxury, featuring 160 rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, a rooftop terrace, and multiple function rooms for events and meetings.
· The Fashion Town Hotel Shenzen – Located in Shenzen, modern metropolis that links Hong Kong to southeastern China’s mainland, well known for its shopping destinations and relevant trade hub including Luhou Commercial City in the Guangdong province.
The hotel is situated along Langyun Road in the the of Dalang Fashion Town community of fashion designers and artisans and of Greater Bay Area in Longhua, an urban space which aims the trendy spirit of the surrounding district. The hotel, an unparalleled masterpiece of fashion art, provides 262 comfortable rooms, several restaurants, a lobby bar, over 1.654 square metres of meeting and banquet space, indoor heated swimming pool and a 24 – hour gym.
· The Dangkou Ancient Town Hotel – Located in Wuxi, relevant city which lies in the southern Yangtze delta and bordering Lake Tai in Jiangsu, eastern coastal province of the People’s Republic of Chine and one of the leading provinces in education, finance, technology and tourism.
The hotel is situated in the historic Taishi Mansion of Dangkou Ancient Town along Heng Fang Lu Road in the Xishan District, Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center is minutes away, offering guests a captivating fusion of modern elegance and ancient charm.
The property provides 178 individually designed rooms, more than 1.300 square metres of event and meeting spaces, lounges and restaurants.
The CEO of Accor Greater China, Gary Rosen, described MGallery as one of the region’s growing hospitality brands, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to creating unique guest experiences, greatly entering in the local culture and incorporating strong design identities next to sustainable practices.
Accor MGallery Collection boasts over 120 properties worldwide and around 40 more under development and it aims to double its footprint in Greater China by 2030.
The latest additions with these hotels in Nanjing, Shenzen and Wuxi strengthen MGallery portfolio in the region, including properties in Changbai Mountains, Chengdu, Hong Kong and Mi’le.
