Marriott International, Inc, renowned American multinational company based in Bethesda - Maryland, hospitality group which operates franchises, and licence lodging brands that include hotels, residential, and timeshare properties worldwide managed the Hotel Princesa Plaza Madrid's incorporation in its portfolio of 30 brands.
The property managed by Selenta Group portfolio, Catalan group part of the fund Brookfield Asset Management Ltd., headquartred in Toronto - Canada leading global investment firm, investing on behalf of institutions and individuals around the world, has undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment of its facilities that positions it as an ideal destination for both leisure tourists and MICE tourism.
The hotel is situated in Madrid's Argüelles neighborhood, along the bustling Calle de la Princesa in the Moncloa - Aravaca district close to emblematic Plaza de España, the lively, urban artery Cuesta de San Vicente and Gran Via, the iconic avenue crossing the heart of the Spanish capital and it will become part of Marriott Hotels brand in spring 2025, thus becoming the brand's second hotel in Spain.
The main tower of the hotel features 275 rooms including 96 of them with spectacular views over the Madrid skyline with 12 suites and a spacious lobby completely renovated boasting an elegant cocktail bar, while the building annexed to main tower, still under remodeling will provide 139 new rooms, adding a total of 414.
The hotel will also boast a restaurant, and 1.000 square metres of open spaces spread over 10 rooms with natural lights, which will allow the establishment to host all kind of events, from small meeting to conferences and banquets for 400 people.
