Minor Hotels Europe & Americas part of Minor Hotels, international hotel owner, operator, and investor founded in 1978 and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand has announced the upcoming opening of the NH Collection Hotels & Resorts brand to Italy's mountain hotel sector by adding to its portfolio the NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso in the Italian Alps.
The four-star accommodation is situated in Alagna Valsesia, comune and small village high in the Valsesia alpine valley in the province of Vercelli in the Piedmont region, a UNESCO World heritage site since 2013 nestled in the Pennine Alps at the foot of Monte Rosa just minutes from a cable car to the Monte Rosa Ski Hotel in a famed ski area which links the Valsesia Valley to renowned ski resorts in Aosta Valley such as Champoluc and Gressoney, offering 150 kilometres of slopes.
The hotel is set to undergo renovations before its official opening under the new brand in March 2025 it boasts 56 rooms, a wellness centre, a 300 - square - meter adult only area featuring indoor and outdoor pools, a salt flotation pool, a whirlpool, two saunas, a Turkish bath, experiential showers and four treatment rooms.
NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso also provides other amenities such as a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner with full board or a la carte options, a separate 400 - square metre area catering to families with an indoor and outdoor pool, sun loungers, and a spacious garden with a children's play area.
