The Italian hospitality brand The Romeo Collection, group which embraces a defined philosophy centered around holistic well – being and culinary excellence that seamlessy blends tradition with innovation highlighting each destination with its distinctive allure, eagerly awaits exploration and focused to details and a very accurate service has opened the Romeo - Roma, a luxury hotel featuring 74 rooms in the historic centre of the "Eternal city".
The hotel hosted in a historic 16th - century palace, is one of the final projects of the late architect Zaha Hadid is located just steps from the iconic Piazza del Popolo, one of the most famous Roman squares at the foot of the Pincio, emblematic hill located north of the Quirinal, overlooking the historic Campus Martius to the west and inside the northern gate in the Aurelian Walls, once the Porta Flaminia one of the historic and renowned doors of the ancient, Imperial Rome.
The accommodation in all its splendour showcases a fascinating blend of historic features and contemporary architectural elements, some rooms feature original 16th -century frescoes and boasting amenities like, hidden televisions, integrated fireplaces and whirlpool tubs.
The Hotel Romeo – Roma is also home to Ristorante Alain Ducasse Roma, led by famed Michelin - starred chef Alain Ducasse with other culinary options include rooftop Lounge "La Terrazza" and all – day dining venue "Il Cortile".
Other amenities include the hotel's 13.000 - square - foot wellness center, La Spa Sisley Paris which features a gravitational tub, a salt wall, a hammam, a fitness centre with the spa's centerpiece as its indoor – outdoor pool, designed with a transparent bottom that allows guests to view archaeological renmants that were discovered during the property's development.
The Romeo - Roma joins the Romeo Napoli as the Romeo Collection's second hotel waiting for the Romeo Massa Lubrense, scheduled to open in Campania region, near the idyllic Sorrento later this year.
