Hilton | Announcement to Open Three New Hotels in Athens, Greece

Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., famed American multinational company founded in 1919 and headquartered in Tysons,Virginia, group specializes to manage and franchise, hotels, resorts and timeshare properties has announced to open three new hotels in the capital of Greece, Athens further strengthening the presence in the Hellenic country, adding over 500 new rooms to the city's lifestyle portfolio which currently includes 10 trading hotels and the forthcoming Conrad Athens.

 This expansion in Greece is the result of a partnership with Aluma Greece IKE, international chain of hotels and resorts well known to offer exceptional hospitality experiences, a group based in Athens, very active with multiple operations across the country and the three new hotels are :

•    Adia Aluma Athens, Curio Collection by Hilton - The hotel will offer 215 rooms and amenities, including a restaurant, lobby bar, rooftop bar, wellness facilities, and a fitness studio.
•    Anise Aluma Athens, Tapestry Collection by Hilton - The hotel will provide 99 rooms and amenities, including a restaurant, rooftop bar, a pool, meeting room, and gym facilities.
•    Skylark Aluma Athens,Tapestry Collection by Hilton -The hotel will feature 191 rooms, a rooftop terrace with a bar and restaurant, a rooftop pool, two meeting rooms, and wellness facilities, including treatment rooms and a gym.

The three new properties will be located near Omonoia Square, one of the oldest and historic squares in the city of Athens that for its location marks the northern corner of the downtown area defined by the urban plan of the 19th century, considered kilometre zero of the metropolis and an important lively shopping centre which has seen a notable revitatalization over the last years.

All three hotels are conveniently located with easy access to all the major attractions of the city, boasting strong transport links to the Athens International Airport which is 35 kilometres from each hotel.

The three hotels are expected to open in 2025 and 2026 and the signings of these franchise agreements will further enhance the Hilton's lifestyle portfolio in Greece with two very performing brands like Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

The growth of the American company has significantly accelerated in Greece in recent years, reflecting the confidence in the country's appeal, a very demanded destination for its rich cultural heritage and large offer of options for several segments, a leading destination in the Mediterranean region selected by a multitude of international travellers.

 The President and CEO of Hilton, Christopher J. Nassetta, expressed his enthusiasm about the company's expansion in Athens, over 60 year after the opening of their first hotel in the Greek capital, stating that these developments under the Curio and Tapestry brands represents Hilton's commitment to expanding its presence in the major city of Greece.
