The Real Academia de Gastronomia, the Royal Academy of Gastronomy in collaboration with the CEU University, "Food and Society", IAS – CEU, will hold the Spain Gastronomy Conference 2025 from 27th to 29th March 2025 at CEU San Pablo University located in Madrid with Campuses in Moncloa in the capital of Spain, right next to the Constitutional Court of Spain and in Montepríncipe, Alcorcón.
The aim of this relevant congress is to address from an academic, scientific and professional point of view, the new, social, economic, psychological, medical and cultural scenario of today's gastronomy.
The central axis of the Conference is defined taking into account that the concept of gastronomy as an eminently recreational activity has become somewhat obsolete and that the other dimensions of the value chain of gastronomic activities which includes production, distribution, preparation, consumption and waste management, must be taken into account from a multidisciplinary approach.
Spain Gastronomy Conference 2025 will bring together researchers, academics and practitioners from different fields of science, academic disciplines, research networks and policy areas to discuss this new framework to define gastronomy as a transversal activity.,with a main focus on nutrition, health and sustainability.
The conference will feature internationally renowned speakers as well as young researchers who will be able to present their work in the form of plenary lectures and Communications.
The proceedings of the conference will be published in an indexed scientific journal of the highest prestige.
