Hyatt Hotels Corporation, commonly known as Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, American multination hospitality company headquartered in Chicago Illinois, group that manages, operates and franchises hotels, resorts and vacations worldwide boasting a large portfolio composed by several brands announced that the two neighboring all - inclusive resorts, the Secrets Resort & Spa Playa Esmeralda and the Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa will open this summer in the Dominican Republic.
The two new properties will join 15 Dominican all - inclusive in Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection and the two resorts will be Hyatt’s first in the Playa Esmeralda area, an important, strategic move of Hyatt Hotels Corporation expanding its portfolio in the Caribbean region in a destination highly demanded as the Dominican Republic.
Both all inclusive - resorts are located along the Dominican northeastern coast, tucked away on the southern shores of the the spectacular Samana Bay, on the approximately 5.0 kilometres Costa Esmeralda, a virgin cove among the most photogenic shorelines in the entire Caribbean on a large promontory between Miches and Lagunas de Nisibon.
Playa Esmeralda located within Miches region, a very emergent destination area with a notable development that in recent years has attracted significant upscale resort investment with high profile properties like the Zemi Miches, Marriott Miches Beach and Four Seasons Tropicalia either open or currently under development, a destination highly promoted by the Dominican Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Board of the Republic Dominican in tourism campaigns and tourism trade fairs.
Secrets Resort & Spa Playa Esmeralda is an adults – only , luxury all - inclusive resort is located through Carretera Bávaro, Camino a Costa Esmeralda in a privileged position on the northeastern coast of the Dominican Republic offering breathtaking views, a unique natural environment and an opulent architecture.
The property will feature 500 comfortable and welcoming guestrooms with private terraces or balconies, ten dining venues offering a mix of cuisine ranging from French to Mediterranean and Dominican and six bars. In addition the resort will provide a spa with 12 treatments rooms, hydrotherapy facilities and a beauty salon.
The adjacent Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, nestled along a pristine beachfront with soft sand and calm waters, boasting spectacular ocean views, is a new family - friendly all - inclusive resort that will provide 500 comfortable and welcoming guestrooms, as well as an on - site waterpark, Explorer’s Club and Core Zone with programming designed for children and teenagers.
The resort will provide seven bars and nine restaurants offering a large culinary offer, serving a mix of cuisine, including Asian, Dominican and Italian specialties.
