Hyatt Regency Times Square Opened its Doors in New York City, U.S.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, American multinational hospitality company based in Chicago, Illinois announced the opening of the Hyatt Regency Time Square, introducing the first Hyatt Regency hotel to New York City.

The property, owned by Argent Ventures, a private held real estate company headquartered in New York that has ownership of Grand Central Terminal, the land beneath it around 156 miles of Metro - North Railroad tracks in the New York City metropolitan area is managed by Highgate, industry - leading hotel management, investment, technology and development firm, based in New York, with a diverse portfolio of hotels across North America, the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe.

The hotel underwent a multi - million dollar renovation to transform the space into a modern accommodation in the emblematic Times Square area, a major commercial intersection, popular tourist destination, acclaimed entertainment hub, and relevant neighbourhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City, formed by the junction of Broadway, Seventh Avenue and 42nd Street. 

Hyatt Regency Times Square opened its doors at 1605 Broadway, perfectly located in the beating heart of midtown Manhattan, directly on Broadway between 48th and 49th Streets at the doorstep to Times Square, close to the best shopping, theatre and historical attractions in the city with easy access to Central Park, Rockfeller Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Bryant Park, Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall and the greatest musical theatre scene. 

The new hotel enters in the Hyatt Regency brand, characterized by hotels and resorts that feature world - class amenities, inviting and elegant accommodations offering comfort and excellence in service.

The design and development of Hyatt Regency Times Square were overseen by Lucid, Highgate’s design and construction group in collaboration with Gensler and Hyatt Hotels Corporation and incorporates elements inspired by the theatre district, such as colourful, translucent disks reminiscent of theatre marquees.

The property features 795 comfortable rooms and suites offering views of New York City through large windows, equipped with blackout curtains, built - in reading lights, and charging stations. The penthouse suite, measuring 969 square feet, can be expanded by connecting with two additional rooms offering unique views from Times Square to the Hudson River.

The hotel also features a MAMMA MIA ! – themed room, developed in collaboration with the musical, which is returning to Broadway. This room provides a themed experience for guests interested in theatre and film.

 The property includes a two - story lobby with a glass atrium that overlooks Broadway with Cue 48 restaurant, transition from a daytime café to an evening lounge, providing health – conscious food and beverage options.

In addition the hotel features 290.000 square feet of commercial space, which CBRE markets. This space features column - free zones and multiple private entrance options to diverse businesses.
