San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina | To Host the First International Meeting on Sustainable Tourism from 7th to 9th August 2025

San Salvador de Jujuy, commonly known as Jujuy, the capital and largest city of Jujuy province and the seat of the Doctor Manuel Belgrano Department, located near the Quebrada de Humahuca, a stunning, narrow Andean valley flanked by the high plateau of the Puna where wooded hills meet the lowlands in northwest Argentina will host from 7th to 9th August 2025 the First International Meeting on Sustainable Tourism.

The Argentine city will receive representatives from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Peru to celebrate an important initiative which seeks to strengthen regional integration marking a key step in the consolidation orf the Andean Network of the Bioceanic Tourism Corridor, a platform that seeks to articulate efforts between Andean countries creating alliances to promote the sustainable growth of their destinations,  with a focus on local culture, identity, inclusion of communities and environmental care.

The event under the motto "Uniendo Andes y Mares", "Uniting Andes and Seas" is organized by members of the Andean Sustainable Tourism Netwrk, together with public and private institutions of Jujuy.

This meeting represents a unique opportunity to advance in the construction of a common regional agenda, positioning northern Argentina on the map of international tourism and consolidating a shared vision of tourism development with a positive impact.

For three days, academics, businessmen, entrepreneurs, officials and tourism providers will participate in meetings to generate commercial links and partnerships to promote the development of responsible tourism in South America.

The program includes networking spaces and presentations of destinations that will make innovative tourism proposals visible, aimed at conscious travellers and international markets interested in authentic experiences.

Key initiatives include : an International Forum with panels and presentation by national and international experts, a presentation of integrated tourism destinations, B2B and B2C business roundables, keynote talks, tourism promotion workshops and an Executive Meeting of the Andean Tourism and Famtours Network for operators with the presence of specialized press.

In adndition, success stories and joint marketing strategies in the fiend of sustainable tourism will be shared.
