IHG Hotels & Resorts, British multinational company based in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK, announced the opening of a new voco resort in Đồng Hoi, a city located along the north central coast of Vietnam,capital of the region previously known as Quang Binh and now incorporated into Quang Tri province, a destination known for its 12 -km - long coastline with white sand beaches, delicious cuisine based on fresh fish and seafood, and closest city to Phong - Nba - Kẻ - Bàng National Park, UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, 50 kilometres north.
Quang Bing Resort is the second voco Hotels property to open in Vietnam following the 2023 opening voco Ma Belle Danang marking the first international resort in Quang Binh Tri Province, a development that is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio expansion in Southeast Asia, in a country like Vietnam which is experiencing a significant tourism boom, with strong domesitic and international growth, consolidating itself as a leading destination in the region.
The resort is located at Lot 202 Vo Nguyen Gipa Street, 2 kilometres from Dong Hoi’s city centre, in an area ideal for all those who are seeking authentic Vietnamese experiences away from tourist crowds.
Don Hoi is known for its extensive cave systems and natural beauty, providing an easy access to various natural attractions in the region, including Son Doong Cave and Phong – Nba - Kẻ - Bàng National Park and several pristine beaches.
The resort design incorporates elements of Indochine aesthetics with local craftmanship and artwork unique to voco Hotels, a brand which offers a hotel experience that is consistently thoughtful and distinct. The voco Quang Binh Resort features 68 comfortable suites and beachfront villas, providing direct access to Bao Ninh beach. The accommodations range in size from 43 square metres to 300 square metres.
