The Palace Company | Commenced the Construction of a New Luxury Resort investing $700 Million, in Montego Bay, Jamaica

The Palace Company, international hospitality conglomerate specializing in luxury and ultra - luxury resorts, hotels, and vacation clubs in the world’s finest destinations and based in Doral, Florida, U.S. has commenced the construction of a a new luxury resort with an investment of $700 million in Montego Bay, the capital of Saint James Parish on Jamaica’s north coast, a very popular holiday destination in the Caribbean and a major cruise ship port, highlighted by numerous beach resorts, pristine beaches and golf courses in a stunning natural setting.

The groundbreaking event of the future Moon Palace The Grand - Montego Bay was attended by Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and the Palace Company’s CEO, Gibrán Chapur, inaugurating a project that aims to enhance Jamaica’s position in the tourism sector and is expected to generate more than 3.000 jobs.

 This multimillionaire development set to redefine the Caribbean hospitality will feature 1.200 rooms, including overwater bungalows, and will offer amenities such as 13 restaurants and bars, a large spa, a water park, a FlowRider and additional facilities will include a bowling alley, an infinity pool, and access to a golf course. 

The new resort in Montego Bay, a key destination in the region, is part of the Palace Company’s ongoing expansion in Jamaica, marking a decade of operations in the country. The development is positioned to contribute significantly to the local economy and tourism industry, and increasing the appeal of the resorts offering of the Caribbean country.

The Palace Company in 2015 developed Moon Palace Jamaica in Ocho Rios, a town in the parish of Saint Ann on the north coast of Jamaica, a renowned destination famous for its pristine beaches, where turquoise waters meet soft, white sands, waterfalls, rivers, rainforest and with a cruise ship harbour and a busy bay beach that’s lined with hotels. The project which saw an investment of $250 million creating over 1.200 jobs and integrated sustainable practices into its operations.
