Event Hotels, hospitality company that operates more than 50 business and city hotels in over 40 locations in Europe under the name of renowned hotel brands and headquartered in Cologne, Germany, has announced the acquisition of Keystone portfolio, a hotel investment, development, and management firm with over five decades of experience, working with brands like Marriott, Hilton and Radisson, a firm focuses on hotel investments and partnerships, emphasizing company culture and leadership within each hotel they manage and based in Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.
This operation comprises 17 properties under the ibis and Mercure brands, part of Accor S.A. group across Germany totalling 2.021 rooms in high - demand destinations include major cities such as Bremen, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich and Nuremberg all key destinations for business travellers, trade fair visitors, and conference attendees.
Other destinations include Koblenz, vibrant city located on the Rhine River, a popular destination with significant leisure demand and is home to the largest hotel in the Keyston e portfolio, the 168 - room Mercure Koblenz City.
Additional locations include Bamberg, Duigsburg, Paderborn, Sindelfingen and Würzburg, all cities boasting a rich cultural and historical heritage and active business activities, offering growth potential in the midscale and budget segments.
Event Hotels plans targeted refurbishment, upgrades, and guest experience improvements of the 17 hotels and CEO of the company Anders Braks stated that this acquisition marks one of the largest investments in the history of the group and represents another milestone.
