Hyatt Hotels Corporation, American multinational hospitality company based in Chicago, Illinois has announced it will reopen the Park Hyatt Tokyo on December 9, 2025 after a major renovation project.
The hotel, located at 2,3 Chrome - 7 - 1 Nishishinnjuku in the heart of Shinjuku, a bustling, large entertainment, business and shopping area around the busy Shinjuku Station, just a 10 - minute walk from Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and Shinjuku Central Park, surrounded by towering skyscrapers and offering stunning Mount Fuji views.
Housed on the 39th to 52nd floors of the striking Shinjuku Park Tower the hotel already accept reservations fro rooms, restaurants, events spa services.
The major renovation, which started in May 2024, includes updates to rooms, suites, public spaces, event venues and dining areas was a project led by the Parisian firm Jouin Manku, which focused on maintaining the original design elements while introducing new furnishing and materials.
The rooms and suites reduced from 177 to 171, have been redesigned to enhance connectivity and promote an open atmosphere. Bathrooms now feature a blend of mineral and organic materials, inspired by traditional Japanese wet rooms.
The introduction of the new Park Suite category offers living and sleeping areas, dining tables, and views of Harajuku, Shibuya, Meiji Shirine and Yoyogi Park. Amenities include Italian linens, Nespresso coffee machines and Bose soundbars in suites.
The hotel will feature various dining options, including Girandole by Alain Ducasse, a restaurant will offer a modern interpretation of classic Parisian and brasserie dishes, with a focus on cooking techniques, The Peak Lounge & Bar will continue to offer a retreat with stunning views of Tokyo, serving afternoon tea and cocktails, and another F&B venue is the New York Grill & Bar.
The hotel’s fitness centre and spa, Club On the Park, will also be restored to its original design, and The Library, featuring over 2.000 books will be part of the restored public spaces.
