London City Airport has been named the United Kingdom’s Best in the Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, a recognition that highlights London City air hub’s commitment to speed, accessibility and comfort, all within minutes of central London.
This prestigious award is delivered by Condé Nast, a renowned global media company based in New York, U.S., founded in 1909 by Condé Montrose Nast and owned by Advance Publications, a company that is known for high - quality journalism and content, with a presence in several markets and a reach of over 1 billion consumers.
The Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers’ Choice Awards is one of the travel industry’s most prestigious and long – running accolades in Great Britain and follows two other recent awards achieved by London City Airport such as the Daily Telegraph and Which ? both naming it “London’s Best Airport”.
London city Airport is an international air hub in the British capital, located in the Royal Docks in Borough of Newman about 9.6 kilometres east of the City of London and 4.8 kilometres east of Canary Wharf, the two centres of London’s financial industry.
It is the closest airport for more than half of all Londoners, and journey from the front door to the gate can take as little as 10 minutes. More than two - thirds of passenger travel to and from the airport using the DLR and other public transport options.

The airport’s recently upgraded terminal features 30% more seating, and it offers various premium dining options, retail choices, and spacious lounges.
In addition London City Airport is consistently recognised as London’s most punctual airport serving over 30 destinations across the UK and Europe including famous and demanded leisure destinations like Ibiza, Sardinia and Palma and is working closely with airline partners to broaden its network.
British Airways recently announced it is commencing a new regular service to Madrid from London City Airport, staring in December 2025.
