MGallery Collection, a global brand of luxury boutiques hotels characterized by their unique stories, distinctive design and captivating features, owned by Accor S.A., a French multinational hospitality company based in Issy - les - Moulineaux has announced the signing of agreements to open two new properties in Japan’s Nagano Prefecture, a mountainous, landlocked territory in the centre of Honshu Island, belonging to the Chubu Region, known for its towering peaks, ski resorts, parks, hot springs and stylish architecture.
The two establishments, Lime Resort Myoko and Madarao Kogen Hotel with opening expected in winter 2026 and late 2027 respectively, are part of a strategic partnership with Patience Capital Group, a leading international real estate investment manager headquartered in Singapore, a collaboration which aims to enhance tourism in the region by transforming the existing properties into modern resorts under the MGallery Collection.
These projects mark the second and third MGallery addresses in Japan, following the opening of Hôtel Sosei Sapporo in 2024.
The renovations at both sites will prioritize sustainability, incorporating local materials and energy - efficient technologies. The strategic cooperation between Accor S.A. and Patience Capital Group aims to position Madarao and Myoko as premier four - season mountain destination, catering to both winter sports enthusiasts and visitors seeking year - round activities such as cycling, forest bathing, and hiking.

The Lime Resort Myoko - The property is situated near the base of Mount Myoko, southwest of Myoko City, within Myoko - Togakushi Renzan National Park established in 2015 and boasting several attractions such as lakes, mountains, plateaus, ponds and offering several opportunities for skiing and and skiing in the snowy months and numerous trails to hike and other outdoor activities when the weather is warm. The property is expected to open by winter 2026 and will be transformed into a wellness - focused resort featuring 38 rooms, dining options. a lounge café and bar, onset facilities, a fitness area, and a kids club.
The Madarao Kogen Hotel - The hotel is located at Mt. Madarao between Iiyama and Shinano in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, famous for its ski resort with over 45 trails, unlimited powder, and stunning tree skiing, it will undergo a comprehensive renovation with a design will incorporate elements of Alpine - style comfort and Japanese minimalism. The project is expected to be completed by late 2027 and once reopened, the establishment will feature 80 rooms, including standard, deluxe, and suite options. Amenities will include multiple dining options, a lobby lounge, a pool bar, conference facilities, hot springs, onsen baths, and ski rental services.
Both resorts will be connected by a dedicated shuttle service, facilitating guest mobility and linking the properties to other leisure assets in the region managed by Patience Capital Group, including Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort and Nagano Dunes Golf Club.
