Marriott International | Series by Marriott Brand Debuts in the United States with the Opening of Two Hotels located in Miami Beach, FL and Santa Monica, Los Angeles, CA, U.S.

Marriott International, American multinational hospitality company headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland expanded its portfolio in the United states with its Series by Marriott brand with the opening of two new hotels located in Miami Beach, Florida, and Santa Monica, Los Angeles, California. 

Hawkins Way Capital, LLC, a vertically integrated real estate company based in Los Angeles, focused on value added and opportunistic investments across various asset classes and geographies and partner of Marriott in this development has announced the opening of the first two hotels linked to this brand in the U.S. 

The properties, located in Miami Beach and Santa Monica, began operations on November 10 and November 13, 2025 respectively.

This development follows a strategic partnership between Marriott International and Hawkins Way Capital, LLC, announced in September 2025, to convert six properties into FOUND Hotels under the Series by Marriott brand. 

This collaboration aims to expand the Series by Marriott brand across major U.S. markets, including Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, and Santa Barbara. 

The partnership between Marriott International and Hawkins Way Capital LLC is part of a broader strategy to reposition and manage underperforming hotels, leveraging Marriott’s global distribution platform and loyalty network. The initiative aims to introduce design - focused, mid - upscale hotels in urban and leisure markets, catering to the demand of both leisure and corporate travellers.

Both hotels are managed by FCL Management LLC based in Los Angeles, an operator, real estate, hospitality and hotels company  of high performing assets in the country’s fastest growing cities specializing in managing boutique  and flag hotels. 

The FOUND Hotel, Miami Beach, Series by Marriott is an reimagined icon of Art Deco modernism located at 2925 Indian Creek Drive, within 500 metres of Miami Beach beaches and Miami Beach Boardwalk, 1.8 km of Holocaust Memorial and Miami Beach Convention Center and 16 kilometres from Miami International Airport. 

The hotel features updated interiors, a remodeled pool and lobby, a  1.000 square - foot  restaurant serving brunch, lunch, and dinner in a family - friendly ambience, Luca, a bar which connects the lobby and pool  terrace and upgraded technology and entertainment systems.

The FOUND Hotel, Santa Monica, Series by Marriott is a boutique hotel centrally located at 12311 Santa Monica Boulevard in the eclectic West Los Angeles district, close to the beaches and the city’s dining and retail districts, 4.8 kilometres from both Santa Monica Pier and Dowtown Santa Monica, and the Getty museum is 8 km away.

The hotel offers enhanced guestrooms and public spaces, updated signage, and building - system improvements. The property also features a refreshed food and beverage program at the Cliffdiver restaurant and provides on - site parking.  

Both hotels join the Series Brand by Marriott, a new soft brand focusing on “well – executed basics” which includes clean and comfortable rooms, free Wi - Fi, and daily coffee or tea. The brand aims to affiliate with established regional hotels, and while not all properties have the same amenities, some offer breakfast, fitness centres, and spaces.

A key feature of Series Brand by Marriott, is that all participating hotels are part of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, through earning rates and elite night credits are reduced
