About the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway:
The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway features modern, Swiss - made cars, built with precision and high - tech, moisture, resistant cables, boasting advanced systems monitor wind, with sirens warning of high winds, a focus on sustainability with rotating floors for 360° panoramic views of Cape Town.
Carrying 65 passengers each in 4 - 5 minute trip, the cableway offers a safe, scenic, and accessibility journey to the summit, which hosts walking trails, dining options, and offering a unique opportunity to enjoy stunning vistas.
The ride takes about 4 - 5 minutes, travelling up to 10 metres per second and once on the top of Table Mountain you can enjoy unobstructed views of Cape Town, Table Bay, the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and the beauty of the mountain itself.
