Hyatt Hotels Corporation, American multinational hospitality company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, has officially opened a new 244 – Room Andaz hotel in Bangkok, Thailand’s capital with a vibrant mix of ancient and modernity, known for its opulent golden temples like Wat Arun, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho’s Reclining Buddha, Grand Palace, ornate shrines, juxtaposed with towering skyscrapers, bustling street life, iconic street food, world - class shopping, and a famous nightlife scene, all connected by a sprawling landscape and waterways like the Chao Phraya River, offering from serene parks like Lumphini to chaotic markets and luxury experiences.
The opening of Andaz One Bangkok marks the brand‘s entry in the Thai capital expanding its presence in the country,and joining the existing Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach.
The property is located at 201 Wireless Road, once home to Thailand’s first telegraph station, just steps from the lush greenery of Lumphini Park, strategically situated to provide direct access to MRT Lumphini Station and proximity to major expressways linking Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airports, with business and retail hubs such as Silom and Sathorn just minutes away.
The hotel's development is part of the One Bangkok district, which includes a mix of cultural spaces, residences, retail zones, hotels, and workplaces, and aims to serve for both local and international travel, providing convenient access to various business, cultural, and shopping districts in the Thai capital.
The hotel design incorporates elements inspired by the local area, with interiors reflecting the colours and textures of Bangkok, executed by Thailand’s Pia Interior Company Limited, a design firm based in Bangkok, drawing on the city’s architecture and cultural motifs.
The property features 244 comfortable rooms and suites, ranging from 38 square metres to the 197 - square - metre Presidential Suite.
Dining options at the Andaz One Bangkok include Andaz Terrace, which offers Asian - influenced dishes with views of Lumphini Park, Jing, a restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine. The 23rd floor houses Piscari, a Mediterranean restaurant led by French chef Marc Vasseur, featuring an open kitchen and private dining areas.
Additional amenities at the Andaz One Bangkok include a 24-hour Andaz Lounge, an outdoor infinity pool, and a fitness center.
The hotel joins the Andaz brand, part of Hyatt’s Lifestyle Group, a family of hotels focused on local culture, immersive experiences and a “casual luxury vibe.” Brand key features include dynamic locally inspired design and art, freshly sourced food and beverages, vibrant lounge spaces, and unique cultural programming.
