Riyadh, the capital and main financial hub of Saudi Arabia, a vibrant centre located on a desert plateau in the centre of the country, known as the cultural heart of the Saudi Kingdom due to its numerous cultural centres, among them the King’ Abd’ Aziz Historical Centre, the National Museum, and the National Library once again becomes a festival city during Riyadh Season 2025 - 26, an event that marks winter in the Middle East.
Riyadh Season is a massive, annual winter festival transforming the Saudi city from roughly October to March with diverse entertainment like concerts, sports, themed zones include Boulevard City and Winter Wonderland, global events such as MrBeast and WWE Royal Rumble, and diverse cultural experiences, positioning itself as a major global winter destination alongside other Saudi winter events like Diriyah and AlUla Season, all part of Saudi’s “Winter Live” initiative to showcase its cultural and natural diversity.
The city opens its doors to international visitors with immersive zones, exclusive events and an ideal environment to explore the Saudi Kingdom’s growing tourist offer.
Boulevard Riyadh City is once again the epicentre of season, a massive entertainment hub featuring themed zones like Boulevard World, with replica landmarks from global cultures, with a special dedication this year to Indonesia, Korea and Kuwait, and a stunning Musical Fountain as spectacular centrepiece with synchronized water, lights, fire and music shows.
The site is also highlighted by a global street food market, numerous restaurants, cafes, shops, cinemas, theatres, live performances, gaming areas, family - friendly attractions, and immersive activations, all designed for vibrant seasonal festivities in the city.
Among the most outstanding areas of this edition is “The Groves" (Chapter IV), a destination accurately designed for those who prefer more sophisticated experiences. The space combines landscaped streets, live music, heated terraces and gastronomic concepts inspired by Levantine, Mediterranean and Gulf flavours.
The great sporting highlight of the season will be the international premier of the WWE Royal Rumble, which wil take place for the first time outside North America. The event, one of the largest sports entertainment spectacles in the world, is scheduled for January, 31, 2026, in the Saudi Capital.
Saudi Arabia’s broader “Saudi Winter” and “Where Winter Lights Up” are also protagonists, representing campaigns part of a larger initiative promoting tourism across the Kingdom.
Riyadh offers a varied accommodation offer, with premium options, lifestyle hotels and affordable choices for extended stays, between €60 and €1000 per night/person, depending on capacity.
In essence, Riyadh Season is a central pillar of Saudi Arabia’s strategy to become a leading global winter tourism hub, offering vibrant, diverse experiences for all ages.
