Dusit International | Signed an Agreement to Open and Manage a 150 - Room Hotel in Mariveles, Bataan, Philippines

 Dusit International, a leading multinational hospitality company founded in 1948 and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, a group which manages and operates a large portfolio of hotels under different brands, well known to offer distinctive experiences, all united by excellence in service that is warm and attentive has signed an agreement to open and manage a 150 - room hotel in Mariveles, a municipality in the province of Bataan, Philippines.

The area is highlighted by the stunning Mariveles Bay, a large cove at the southern tip of Bataan Peninsula within the Camay Coast, adjacent to Manila Bay to the east, and the South China Sea to the west, home to fastest - growing freeport in country, the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan.

The Thai company has entered into a management agreement with Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation, a prime developer of leisure & resort communities based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila to operate ASAI Camaya Coast within the Camaya Coast development which spans 20 millions square metres and is positioned as a growing destination for domestic tourism.

The Camaya Coast development emphasizes sustainability, preserving a significant portion of its area as natural forest. This aligns with Dusit International’s sustainability initiatives and will support eco – friendly activities in the region.

The signing ceremony for the ASAI Camaya Coast took place in Bangkok, with reprensentatives from both Dusit International and Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation in attendance.

The ASAI Camaya Coast will be the first ASAI Hotels property located within a large - scale, master - planned seaside development and is expected to open in 2029.

The hotel located approximately four hours by car or 90 minutes from Metro Manila will be located in an area that is seeing increased visitor numbers, with Bataan recording over 1.2 million in 2024, according to the Provincial Tourism Office. This represents a 41.16% increase from the previous year.

The property will feature 150 comfortable rooms, access to dining and retail areas, an 18 - hole golf course, event spaces, an a private beach. The hotel is also set to benefit from infrastructure upgrades, including the upcoming Camaya Airport.

The hotel will join ASAI Hotels, by Dusit, a brand which offers an affordable lifestyle experience for millennial - minded travellers, focusing on local immersion, sustainability, and community with “Thoughtful Essentials” like compact rooms (quality beds/showers) and large, versatile common areas for work/play, all featuring local design, dining by local chefs, and tech - driven connections to authentic experiences.

Dusit International currently operates five properties in the Philippines and has plans for further expansion. Upcoming projects include Dusit Hotel Greenhills Manila, Plaza de Zamboanga, Dusit Collection, and Dusit Princess hotels in Cebu City and Lipa, with additional properties scheduled to open by 2027.
