The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), hospitality firm part of Tata Group and based in Mumbai has announced the signing of a new Gateway hotel in Hennur, a rapidly developing residential and commercial hub located in North Bengaluru, India, known for its excellent connectivity to Manyata Tech Park, the airport and the Outer Ring Road (ORR).
The area is considered strategic due to its proximity to key attractions in the in the city centre, attracting numerous tech professionals and real estate investment with strong property appreciation has good social infrastructure (schools, hospitals, malls, shops) and ongoing infrastructure projects like the Metro and with ongoing development leading to new hotels and amenities, making it a key growth corridor in the city.
The project will add to The Indian Hotels Company Limited’s portfolio in the city, which currently includes 20 hotels, 11 of which are under development.
The Gateway Hennur, Bengaluru, will feature 350 comfortable rooms, an all day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, a lounge, a swimming pool, a gym, health club and treatment rooms.
For events and social gatherings the hotel will provide over 16.000 square feet of banqueting space along with meeting rooms equipped with modern facilities.
The property will join the Gateway brand focused on providing upscale, full - service hotels and resorts, offering comfort, ans consistent experience for business and leisure travellers across India. The brand aims to provide a hassle - free experience with a focus on simplicity, style and personalized services.
This development is part of The Indian Hotels Company Limited’s broader strategy to expand its presence in Bengaluru, a destination experiencing significant growth in infrastructure and various sectors such as aerospace, education, and technology.
