Brazil has launched “Janela Única de Investimentos”, (Single Window for Investments) portal, a new platform to attract investment, which centralizes all the services, opportunities and guidance necessary for investors as the Brazilian government announced.
The platform promises to reduce the time needed to obtain licences and documents by 35%, in addition to increasing the volume of international resources by 12%, according to reports from specialized financial institutions.
In 2025, the country received more than $77.000 million in contributions, an increase of 5% compared to 2024, and the launch of “Janela Única de Investimentos” aims to continue this positive trajectory.
The platform is structured in three main areas:
• Services for investors.
• Provision of data and statistics.
• Promotion of the benefits that Brazil offers to investors.
Among the services available are business start - ups, investor visas, and support for sectors such as biofuels and infrastructure. In the future the portal will also include services related to patents and social security.
The main features of the Single Investment Window include:
• Single Point of Entry: A single digital platform that brings together necessary services, information and documents, centralizing interaction with 19 government agencies.
• Reduced Bureaucracy: An estimated 35% reduction in bureaucratic obstacles and simplification of processes such as visa issuance, licenses, and authorizations.
• Informational and Promotional Pillar: Offers statistical data, regulations, information on why to invest in Brazil, and a catalog of major infrastructure projects.
• Agility: Optimization of timelines for foreign investors, including easier visa processing.
• Investment Management: Efficient management of various investment stages, with direct connection to regulatory bodies for greater clarity and transparency.
Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade and Services Geraldo Alckmin, stressed that the initiative will simplify processes and make Brazil even more attractive to global investors.
The Minister added that “Janela Única de Investimentos” will save the investor time, bringing together in a single platform all the information and services necessary for those who wish to invest in Brazil, with the South American Government firmly committed to reducing costs, deadlines and bureaucracy, to deducting investments, facilitating the lives of those who want to produce and generate wealth, employment and income in the country.
In addition, a decree was signed that creates a program to offer legal assistance to international investors in Brazil.
