Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Inc., American multinational hospitality company based in Tysons, Virginia, has signed an agreement to open a 148 - room beachfront Waldorf Astoria hotel in South Goa in the state of Goa, India, a peaceful scenic district known for its tranquil, white - sand beaches, lush green landscapes, an ideal destination for relaxation featuring popular spots like Colva beaches and PalolemaAgonda, alongside natural attractions and ancient temples.
Scheduled to open in 2030, the Waldorf Astoria Goa is being developed by West Coast Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between V.S. Dempo Group, a premier, highly diversified Goan conglomerate established in 1941 headquartered in Panaji, Goa and Triton Hotels Resorts Private Limited, an Indian, Mumbai - based hospitality company operating luxury deluxe hotels.
The property will be Hilton’s third Waldorf Astoria in India, following previous signings in Jaipur and New Delhi and will be developed on a 20 – acre site located along a waterfront stretch in South Goa, offering stunning views of the Arabian Sea.
The establishment will feature 148 rooms, suites, and villas, multiple dining options including the brand’s Peacock Alley, a specialty restaurant, a rooftop bar, swimming pools, a spa, fitness centre, and approximately 10.800 square feet of event and meeting space.
The property will join the Waldorf Astoria Brand, which features a sense of “place” that reflects local culture, excellence in service, and the presence of luxurious amenities, combined with stunning architecture, curated art, and fine dining, providing unique and memorable experiences.
With the addition of Waldorf Astoria Goa, Hilton’s presence in Goa will expand to four hotels. The company currently operates two Conrad Hotels & Resorts properties in India and has announced signings for Waldorf Astoria hotels in Jaipur and New Delhi, as well as a new Conrad and Signia by Hilton in Jaipur.
Waldorf Adtoria Goa will participate in Hilton Honours, the company’s guest loyalty program. Members who book directly through Hilton channels will have access to program benefits, including a flexible payment option, exclusive member discounts, free standard Wi - Fi, and contactless technology through the Hilton Honors mobile app.
