Mandarin Oriental Group, a multinational hospitality company founded in 1963 and based in Hong Kong, China, boasting a relevant portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts, and vacation properties, has announced the development of 87 private residences in West Palm Beach, a bustling city in South Florida, U.S. separated from neighbouring Palm Beach by te lake Worth Lagoon.
West Palm Beach is a vibrant, coastal South Florida centre, established in 1894, known for its downtown Clematis Street and Rosemary Square, artsy neighbourhoods, and proximity to Palm Beach Island, offering top - tier attractions like white sandy beaches, the Norton Museum of ArtKravis Center, alongside water sports and luxury shopping.
The development led by Great Gulf, a major Canadian real estate developer and one of the largest homebuilders in North America with experience and expertise that spans the residential spectrum, represents the first Mandarin Oriental’s residential project in South Florida, scheduled tto open in 2031.
The project is designed by Safdie Architects, an architecture and urban design studio driven by a spirit of idealism and innovation based in Somerville, Massachusetts, with interiors by Studio Munge, an interior design firm specializing in luxury hospitality and residential spaces headquartered in North York, Canada, and landscapes architecture by ENEA Landscape Architecture, an acclaimed company based in Rapperswil - Jona, Switzerland.
The location along the Intracoastal Waterway is set apart from downtown West Palm Beach but remains close to cultural and lifestyle destinations including the Norton Museum, The Royal Poinciana Plaza, Worth Avenue, and CityPlace.
Mandarin Oriental Residences, West Palm Beach will be a 31 - story building featuring 87 private residences offering two - to four - bedroom units, two multi - level private villas, and a full - floor penthouse. Each residence will boast private access elevator and a wraparound balcony with views of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Amenities will include an outdoor rooftop lounge with a pool and bar, cabanas, spa, a fitness centre, a private beach - inspired setting along the Intracoastal Waterway, a pickleball court and a garden lounge.
