Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Inc., American multinational hospitality company based in Tysons, Virginia, has announced the signing and planned conversion of a 175 - room waterfront resort on Stock Island, a laid - back, working - class maritime community located immediately east of Key West in the lower Florida Keys, famous for preserving “Old Florida” charm, featuring waterfronts, marinas, authentic seafood spots, craft breweries and a thriving local arts enclave.
Hilton will convert the current Ocean’s Edge Resort & Matina, a 20 - acre waterfront resort located at 5950 Peninsular Avenue , just minutes from downtown, 10 minutes by car from Key West International Airport, into Hilton Key West Resort & Marina.
The property is owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors, a lodging real estate investment Trust (REIT) based in Aliso Viejo, California, that acquires, owns, and manage upper - upscale and luxury hotels and resorts and will be managed by Hilton, with reservation now open for stays beginning July 1, 2026.
Hilton Key West Resort & Marina will feature 175 comfortable rooms, including 86 suites, each with a private, furnished balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, marina, or tropical surroundings.
Dining options will feature Yellowfin Bar & Kitchen, serving island - inspired cuisine, and Ocean’s Edge Café, a grab - and - go venue offering Cuban inspired coffee, smoothies, and breakfast selections. Additional food and beverage service will be available poolside and through in – room dining.
Amenities at the resort will include six saltwater pools, a fitness centre, event space, including a 570 - square - foot boardroom. a 1.140 - square - foot outdoor patio, a full - service marina, and a range of outdoor recreational activities, including bicycling, kayaking, paddleboarding, yoga classes, poolside movies, and lawn games.
A complimentary shuttle will connect guests to Duval Street in downtown Key West, which is approximately 9.6 kilometres away, making it a serene escape with direct access to Keys nightlife.
Enhancements are planned during the transition, with amenities including pet - friendly rooms, free WiFi, access to on - site dining and recreational facilities. The marina will provide access to boating and excursions through the Florida Keys and toward Everglades.
The property will join the Hilton Hotels & Resorts portfolio and participate in the Hilton Honors loyalty program.
