 St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, an American multinational luxury hotel chain owned by Marriott International, a successful brand known for its sophisticated design, exceptional service, and bespoke experiences, focusing on the refined traveller has officially opened a new exclusive resort marking the debut in Mexico in Costa Mujeres in the state of Quintana Roo, situated on the mainland just north of the the Cancún Hotel Zone,  forming part of the Isla Mujeres Municipality.

Costa Mujeres is an exclusive, master planned luxury peninsula just 20 to 30 minutes from Cancún and across from Isla Mujeres. renowned for its pristine white - sand beaches, calm ocean waters, upscale - all-inclusive resorts, and relaxed atmosphere compared to Cancún’s bustling Hotel Zone.

The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort, Cancún sits in the tranquil Costa Mujeres enclave, framed by white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, protected mangroves, and the world’s second barrier reef, near the iconic El Meco archaeological site, serving as an ancient maritime trading post and navigation aid, best known for housing “El Castillo”, the tallest Maya pyramid in the northern Yucatán Peninsula.

Designed by architectural firm Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, a third generation Mexican architecture studio headquartered in Mexico City, designing hospitality, cultural, and spaces across the globe, the resort incorporates materials and details inspired by the region’s Maya heritage and natural environment. Property elements reference local mythology, craftmanship, and the nearby ancient Maya Port of El Meco.

The lobby features a chandelier evoking the movement of the Caribbean Sea and cenotes, while interiors include woven textures, bentwood furnishings, hand – painted murals and abstract tilework.

The resort features 163 guestrooms and 50 suites, including accommodations with private balconies overlooking the Caribbean Sea and surrounding landscapes. Signature suites include the Caroline Astor and the Presidential Suite.

Dining options at The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort, Cancún  include nine food and beverage outlets. Costa Coral offers all - day dining with Mexican culinary traditions; Fish Market features Caribbean - inspired seafood; Palmare Grill serves coastal cuisine, while Shami presents a rooftop concept that combines Japanese techniques with Mexican Caribbean ingredients.

Wellness facilities at the resort include The St. Regis Spa, which offers a thermal circuit with aromatic steam, hydrotherapy experiences, the Iridium Lounge, and 16 treatment suites, including two Signature Spa Suites with private Jacuzzis and relaxation areas. Treatments use internationally recognized skincare and traditional Mexican ingredients, with a signature Sea Salt Spa Treatment inspired by Maya civilization.

 Additional amenities include an oceanfront infinity pool, a fitness centre with Caribbean Sea views, a Kids Club, and dedicated recreational spaces for families and multigenerational travellers.

 For events the resort also features approximately 9.687 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including the Astor Ballroom, accurately designed to host weddings, special celebrations, corporate gatherings, and milestone occasions.

 St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort, Cancún offers a vast Guest programming includes Afternoon Tea, Evening Champagne Sabrage, sunrise ceremonies supporting coral reef restoration, hands - on - workshops, artisanal collaborations, family - focused activities, craft workshops, live music, and social gatherings at the St. Regis Bar and Jack’s Club.
