Red Sea Global, previously The Red Sea Development Company, a real estate development company headquartered in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, a group founded in 2017 by the Saudi crown prince Mohammed vin Salman and owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) has confirmed the opening of Six Senses Amaala, a property part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, British multinational hospitality company based in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK.
The beachfront resort with first guests expected in mid - July is located at Amaala, an ultra - luxury, eco - friendly wellness destination located on the northwestern coast of Saudi Arabia along the Red Sea. It features 1,600+ keys across nine resorts, a marine life institute, renewable solar energy, and a protected natural coastal environment.
Six Senses Amaala is the second brand resort open at the destination and follows the previous collaboration between Red Sea Global and Six Senses with the opening of Six Seses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea in 2023.
The resort features 100 suites and villas, as well as 25 branded residences. The property’s design draw inspiration from traditional Saudi coastal architecture and is integrated into a landscape of beaches, mangroves, and desert mountains.
Dining options include three signature restaurants, an artisan bakery, a coffee mastery, and a cooking school, offering fresh, locally inspired cuisine aligned with the Six Senses wellbeing philosophy.
Facilities at the resort include a Six Senses Spa with a Longevity Centre, Biohacking Recovery Lounge, Watsu pool, sound dome, thermal facilities, and wellness programs that combine advanced technologies and holistic treatments.
A mangrove lagoon in the centre of the resort, supported by environmental initiatives such as the Earth Lab and the Junior Mangrove Ecologist which provide guests with opportunities to learn about and experience the surrounding ecosystems.
Guests will have direct access to the wider Amaala destination, including the Corallium Marine Life Institute, the Amaala Yacht Club, marine adventures, desert activities, and a selection of retail and dining venues. Six additional resorts are scheduled to open at the destination throughout the year.

Amaala Triple Bay, the main development hub blends mountain and coastal landscapes, the destination’s wellness core, designed for fitness, sports, and deep relaxation, is planned to eventually offer more than 1.600 hotel rooms across nine resorts, along with branded residences, wellness facilities, marinas, retail, and dining offerings.
