Marriott International, American multinational hospitality company based in Bethesda, Maryland, has unveiled the opening of a new The Autograph Collection property in Uçhisar, a captivating town in the Nevşehir Distrct within central Türkiye’s Cappadocia region.
Uçhisar is the highest settlement in the Cappadocia region, famous for Uçhisar Castle, a towering 60 - metre volcanic rock pinnacle, the tallest “fairy chimney” in the region, a tall, thin spire formed by erosion that acted as an ancient fortress and traditional stone houses. The town offers a quieter, traditional atmosphere form to neighbouring tourist hubs.
Fortuna of Cappadocia, Autograph Collection is located at Yukan, Kurttepe Kune Evleri No. 18 within a 10 - minute drive of Uçhisar Castle and Göreme National Park in an area known for its historical settlements carved into stone, rock formations, and scenic valleys.
The property features 125 comfortable rooms and suites, along with 28 private villas. Accommodation options are designed to provide comfort, privacy, and a connection to the surrounding landscape.
Dining and social venues include all - day restaurant Fortuna Table, signature bar Le Donne, a Lobby Lounge, and the seasonal rooftop lounge Fortuna Terrace. Le Privé features a private wine cellar and cigar lounge with a curated selection of fine wines, cognacs, and cigars.
Grand Cabaret, a venue with its own stage, hosts live performances and dinner events on selected evenings. Fortuna Convention Hall provides space for meetings, celebrations, and private events.
The hotel also offers the Spa & Wellness Centre spans approximately 1.112 square metres and includes an indoor swimming pool, a traditional Turkish hammam, and treatment rooms offering a range of therapies.
The property will join The Autograph Collection, a selected family of distinctive, independent hotels with a focus on unique design reflecting the local culture and spirit, ranging from historic luxury to modern hotels and resorts. The collection emphasizes “exactly like nothing else” experiences, often incorporating art, local cuisine, and specific themes like rich history or beachside getaways.
