The new St Regis Cap Cana residential complex, Marriott International's new property in the Caribbean, is expected to open in the first or second half of 2025, as confirmed by the American hotel company.
The resort is located in the exclusive enclave of Punta Cana, an idyllic Caribbean destination in the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic, a territory known for its 32 kilometers of beaches and crystal clear waters where the area of Punta Cana joins that of Bavaro forming the exotic "Costa del Coco" Coconut Coast well known in recent decades for hosting luxurious all-inclusive resorts.
This significant new addition to Marriott's
portfolio sits on a 65,000-square-foot site with expansive linear space with
access to a private beach and developed in and around the famous Jack
Nicklaus-designed Punta Espada Golf Club.
The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts brand, a chain of luxury hotels founded in New York and currently part of the Marriott International group, known for its philosophy of offering maximum comfort and meticulous design details, is currently growing in the Caribbean with the recent opening of Kanai in Mexico and another resort that will open on the island of Aruba at the end of 2024.
